2011/12 SEASON ANNOUNCEMENT!


11/11/11 - A ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME EVENT

11th Hour, the "[un]official sponsor of 2011" is gearing up for, quite literally, a ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME event on November 11, 2011. Seriously...it can't happen again for like, another 100 years...

We'll be teaming up with The Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service & Education Center, Inc. (in honor of Veterans' Day), The Make-A-Wish Foundation (in honor of 11:11, the time to make a wish!) and a whole team of amazing theatre artists to bring you eleven hours of 11th Hour!

The day will include family events, a very special happy hour and an 11th Hour concert that will make you wish it was 11/11/11 everyday!

THE STARS OF 11TH HOUR THEATRE COMPANY AND THEATRE HORIZON'S CO-PRODUCTION OF LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS ARE NOMINATED FOR BARRYMORES!

Philadelphia actress Maggie Lakis (Audrey) and 11th Hour co-founder Steve Pacek (Seymour) have both been nominated for Barrymores for Outstanding Leading Actors in a musical for their roles in Little Shop of Horrors. Pacek was also nominated for Outstanding Leading Actor in Play for his role as Mouse in If You Give a Mouse a Cookie (Arden) and is a finalist for the F. Otto Haas Award for Emerging Philadelphia Theatre Artist. Co-founder Megan Nicole O'Brien was also a semi-finalis for the Haas Award.


11th HOUR WINS 3 MORE BARRYMORE AWARDS!

Last seaon's production of Avenue X won three 2009 Barrymore Awards! Outstanding Musical Direction (Dan Kazemi); Outstanding Leading Actor in a Musical (Michael Philip O'Brien); and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical (Forrest McClendon). The show was also nominated for Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical, Outstanding Ensemble in a Musical, Outstanding Direction of a Musical (Megan Nicole O'Brien) and Outstanding Choreography/Movement (Jennifer Rose). This brings 11th Hour's total number of Barrymore Awards won to 6 and total number of nominations to 20, making 11th Hour one of Philadelphia's most award winning younger theatre companies!


11TH HOUR HAS A NEW ADDRESS!

The administrative offices for 11th Hour Theatre Company have moved. The office address is now in the Land Title Building at 100 S. Broad Street, Suite 1318, Philadelphia PA 19107. Please make a note of it.


11TH HOUR WINS ANOTHER BARRYMORE AWARD!

Last season's production of The World Goes 'Round wins the 2008 Barrymore Award for Best Ensemble in a Musical for the second year in a row! Our production of The Bomb-itty of Errors won the same award in 2007! This year's award is dedicated to the loving memory of our friend and partner, Jorge E. Maldonado.
